Buzz about York

Since the creation of Plantscape’s new pollinator friendly range, we have noticed an increase in the awareness of protecting our pollinators and importance of the product we are providing. We have seen a great response and interest in our pollinator range with small villages and larger cities. Recently we collaborated with the City of York and supported them with their #BuzzAboutYork campaign. We worked on a range of bespoke pollinator-friendly products and surrounds, including our biggest wildflower meadow planter which was created using our innovative interlocking planter range.

This year York has been focusing on bringing inventive designs and ideas together to encourage wildlife and nature into the city. They used Plantscape’s 7 day watering planters combined with custom designed surround to create a trail throughout the city to help raise awareness of the importance of pollinators and encourage people into the area.

Plantscape was able to support this project by providing York with a variety of products and plants:

Plantscape’s largest wildflower meadow planter was created using a custom-made interlocking planter and a wildflower mix to encourage wildlife.

All of the planters were filled with pollinator-friendly plants and flowers, which attract bees and other pollinator insects.
