Funding now available for high street floral safety measures

Did you know planters being used for barriers in high streets and local shopping areas are now eligible for the RHSS funding?

The Reopening High Streets Safely Fund is providing £50 million from the European Regional Development Fund to councils across England to support the safe reopening of high streets and other commercial areas. This new money will support practical measures so businesses can re-open quickly when they are allowed, staff can get back to work and customers can return to shops, confident it is safe.

To prepare for the reopening of non-essential retail when the scientific advice allows, the Reopening High Streets Safely Fund will help councils in England introduce a range of safety measures in a move to kick-start local economies.

This funding will support a range a practical safety measures including, signage and temporary barriers to approve attractiveness as well as help people safely move through public spaces. This will help businesses, not only on high streets and in town centres, but also in other public spaces like beachfronts and promenades.

The Plantscape floor standing planters create the perfect, aesthetically appealing, temporary safety measures for your local area. With the floral displays inside being customisable your streets will be instantly more appealing to visitors too.
